Hi, I’m Dr Bob Moul. I’ve been a client of Santorini for about two and a half years, and my adviser is Matthew Walne.

I was approaching retirement, and it’s a difficult world out there. It’s not always easy to make the right decisions unaided. So, I was looking for a fairly local financial adviser. I just looked on the website, and the reviews were quite good. So, I made an appointment, and the rest is history really.

During the first meeting, we started with a blank piece of paper. My adviser, Matthew, asked a whole range of questions about my background, where I’d worked, how much I understood about my financial position, and everything that you would expect him to ask, and from that, he compiled a good forecast of where I could go. That was invaluable, I think if we’d started on any other footing, I’d have had less faith.

I feel confident that Santorini has got my back covered. The advice I get from them, I receive email updates every month on where the markets are going, things to watch out for, and things to think about. I find that very comforting. So, I’m as confident about the financial future as anyone can be.

If I have any questions, any doubts, anything that worries me, anything that’s on the news, that just sort of throws me a bit, I just pick up the phone, and we talk it through, and we come to a solution.

In my view, Santorini is knowledgeable, efficient and very collaborative.

For me, the main advantage of working for Santorini is that I can pick up the phone or drop an email to my adviser. I can pop down 10 miles away to the office if I need to. I’ve got a financial adviser in my pocket if you want to use that phrase.

The best advice that I came across during that first meeting was to think outside the box and look at other alternatives. That really is the best advice.

I would recommend Santorini. The approach that Santorini uses is very collaborative. They have a wealth of knowledge, they are very friendly, and they explain things very, very well.
